The people living here have taken a complete advantage of these springs by connecting them to pipes to generate heat, in order to make their homes warm and heat the swimming pools.

They hunt rabbits, rodents, fish, frogs, and even deer. They sometimes kill lambs, calves or other domestic animals and pets so farmers call them destructive creatures. they have a strong sense of hearing and keen vision. In winters, they hunt in packs for more effective hunting.

Do you know how a compass works? Well, it is quite simple. The needle is always pointing in the North-South directions. This happens because the Earth acts as if there is a big magnet at its center. The needle is a small magnet aligning with the Earth's magnetic field to point North.

Silk is being made in China for centuries. Simple spinning wheels were invented about 3000 years ago to spin silk, wool and cotton into a fine, even thread, ready to be woven into cloth. It was later upgraded to a spinning jenny by James Hargreaves in 1764. You all know, Gandhiji made his own Khadi clothes using a spinning wheel.
